Unique and unforgettable is how I would sum up Kathryn & Tim’s wedding day. They got married on Kathryn’s parents property and this made the day even more special. This was truly a family affair, with guests being entertained with music and singing by Tim & Kathryn’s brother and sisters, home made lemon syrup (Grandma’s recipe) lovingly presented in milk bottles, and wine carefully selected by Kathryn’s father that I know was perfectly paired with each course. Kathryn wore a beautiful lace dress by Catherine R Couture. Julie Mott from Hair Retreat tended to Kathryn’s dark tresses while Melinda Keighran (makeup artist) helped to complete her look which was utterly stunning. The ceremony was set in front of a wysteria arbour and while it wasn’t fully flowering, Miranda from The Eternal Vase placed some gorgeous flowers amongst the greenery to make the perfect backdrop. The ceremony was run by the bubbly celebrant Deb Wain and it was personalized and lots of fun. The two mums joined Kathryn and Tim whilst welcoming them to their own families (I might have shed a tear!) and when the groomsmen pretended they had no idea where the rings were I laughed out loud. The bride and groom also made their guests pledge to have a good time at their wedding, and don’t be afraid to say hello to people they don’t know! I thought it was hilarious and as they told me later, it helped everyone to bond at the reception. The catering was taken care of by the amazing duo Two Sisters Catering and drinks provided by A Country Affair Caravan Bar. I had so much fun photographing their bridal party, the boys were constantly joking and it made for some very happy snaps. Kathryn and Tim were so relaxed in front of my camera that we ended up with some gorgeous photos. Enjoy!
